goro's Cross Pendant

Overview

goro’s Cross Pendant was produced in the 1990s.

Plain Cross were the main product at the time of its launch, but there were custom ordered crosses with metal, turquoise, and arabesque carvings. As a result, there are many one-of-a-kind items such as a Small Eagle Cross and Wheel Cross with Silver Metal or Rose. The current lineup of goro’s Cross was developed from those orders.  As of today, there are 14 models from the New Design.

In addition, goro’s long chains were originally created for cross, so it is recommended to use long chains for goro’s Cross Setups.

Old / New Design

The difference between Old Design and New Design is mainly the Pendant Hole and Size.The Pendant Hole of the New Design is shaped like a P, while the Old Design is shaped like an O. Also, the Old Design is larger than the New Design.

In rare cases, there are items with a mix of Old Design and New Design. Some of goro's Cross Pendants sold from 2000~2004 may have Old Design motifs on New Design Plain Cross. The item in the photo is a New Design Plain Cross, but attached to an Old Design Silver Wheel with K18 Gold with a size of 18.5mm.

All of the models of New Design were published in the magazine “Turquoise” in 2004. Hence, it is said among the goro’s fans that the transition from Old Design to New Design was completed in 2004.
