The Legendary Eagle
The Platinum Head All Gold Eagle is a legendary eagle pendant hand-crafted by Goro Takahashi.
The eagle is a key motif for goro's and depicts the bald eagle. Goro Takahashi saw a bald eagle during the ceremony in which he received the honorific title "Yellow Eagle" from the Lakota tribe. Since then, the eagle has become a central motif in his work and appears in goro’s feathers, rings, belts, and crosses.
The most common eagle pendants feature a silver body with a gold head. However, the Platinum Head All Gold Eagle has a gold body and a platinum head. When Goro Takahashi crafted this Platinum Head All Gold Eagle, he said: "I made this eagle because the bald eagle has a white head. See, it has a white head! See, the head is white!"
When DELTAone received this eagle from the previous owner, it came with a black drawstring bag that was given to him by Goro himself.
This eagle is Goro Takahashi's masterpiece. There are only a handful of them available globally and only Goro Takahashi's close friends, including celebrities such as Takuya Kimura, own this eagle.
