【Caution】Fraudulent / fake websites - Ginza Silver & Native Feather JP (goro's)

August 2026 update: the operator has rebranded.

The website previously reported here as nativefeather.jp (“Native Feather” / “Native Feather Japan”) now automatically redirects visitors to a new website trading as “Ginza Silver” (ginzasilver.com).

This is the same operation under a new name. It continues to use DELTAone International’s product photography without permission. The images have now been digitally altered, apparently using AI image editing, to disguise their origin.

This article provides information for customers regarding websites that use DELTAone product images without our permission, including nativefeather.jp and ginzasilver.com.

What has changed, and why it matters

Our original warning (June 2023) described a website that copied our photographs directly. The new website is more sophisticated, and some of the old warning signs are no longer sufficient. Customers should be aware of the following.

1. Our photographs have been stolen and digitally altered

DELTAone photographed every goro’s Setup ourselves, at our own retail store in Hong Kong, on our own black display necklace stand. In many of these photographs the wooden wall behind our cashier table is visible, including the “D” DELTAone logo mounted on it.

On ginzasilver.com the same photographs appear with our display necklace stand, our cashier table, our store interior and our “D” logo digitally removed, and replaced with a plain white studio background.

The arrangement of each Setup is identical: the same pieces, hung in the same order, with the same bead count and sequence, the same cord, and the same hang and angle of every feather. The jewellery itself has been lightly retouched, apparently by AI, so fine details do not match our originals exactly. These are not similar items photographed separately. They are our photographs with the background replaced and the details redrawn.

We have documented over 50 goro’s Setup listings reproduced this way. In many cases the product page address is nearly identical to ours, differing only by the sample-setup- prefix we use. For example:

These Setup names are our own descriptions of arrangements that we assembled and photographed ourselves. They do not originate from goro’s and they are not generic product names.

2. The company history appears to be fabricated

Ginza Silver states on its website that it was “founded in 2010” and that “for more than fifteen years we have handled thousands of pieces.”

The domain ginzasilver.com was registered on 20 March 2026, five months before this update. Every product listing on the site was also created in 2026 according to the site’s own published data, although the displayed dates have been set to 2021, 2022 and 2024. Their Instagram account was likewise created recently and has almost no followers or history.

3. The company details are inconsistent

The contact details published across their own policy pages do not agree with one another, or with the identity the website presents:

  • The brand name refers to Ginza, Tokyo, and the site states that pieces are “sourced and authenticated in Japan” by an “appraisal team in Japan.”
  • Their Terms of Service state that “our business operations are headquartered in Hong Kong."
  • The telephone number given is a Japanese mobile number (+81-70...), not a business line, while the stated office hours are GMT+8, which is Hong Kong time and not Japan time.
  • The address given is a Hong Kong office building with no floor or unit number, so it does not identify any actual premises.
  • The address is written inconsistently between pages.
  • No company registration number is published, and no owner, director or representative is named anywhere on the site.
  • The only working contact method is an email address on a free consumer mail service.
  • The domain registration details are hidden behind a privacy service.

4. Please do not rely on price alone

Fraudulent websites are often described as offering prices that are “too good to be true.” That is not always the case, and a normal looking price is not evidence that a seller is genuine. Please judge a seller on the points above rather than on price.

【General features of fraudulent websites】

  • Japanese or English expressions are unconventional and unnatural.
  • Product photos are taken from other official websites without permission. Images may be cropped, or digitally edited to remove the original seller’s background, display stand, or logo.
  • Accepting to remove the commercial invoice from the shipment. Commercial Invoices are mandatory for all international shipments sent with an international carrier, regardless of being a gift.
  • Lack of company information, and/or a discrepancy between the company’s business name.
  • The bank account does not match the company.
  • The return address uses a baggage forwarding company.
  • There is no contact phone number, or the number given is a personal mobile in a different country from the stated address.
  • The registered address does not exist, uses a cloud servicing company, or gives no floor or unit number.
  • The contact information on the WHOIS domain record is hidden.
  • The company’s address is different from the country the store operates in.
  • The stated company history is far longer than the age of the domain name.
  • An old fraudulent domain redirects to the new website.

How to confirm you are dealing with DELTAone

We sell only through deltaone.com.hk and our official social media accounts. If you are unsure whether a website, listing or photograph is ours, please contact us before paying. We are happy to confirm, and there is no obligation to buy.

If you have already made a purchase

In the unfortunate event of making a purchase from a fraudulent website, please organise the details of your purchase, email correspondence, payment slip proof, etc. Then consult your local Police or Consumer Council Services Centre (e.g. https://www.consumer.org.hk/en/complaints-and-services).

Additionally, if you have made a bank transfer or credit card payment, please inform the financial institution or credit card company immediately.

Regarding disputes with fraudulent websites, our company will not assume any responsibility. We sincerely request your thorough attention and caution.
